Mauricio Pochettino suitability for Manchester United manager job questioned after Paris Saint-Germain defeat to Real Madrid in Champions League

Mauricio Pochettino's lack of changes in Paris Saint-Germain's capitulation against Real Madrid has been labelled as 'criminal'.
The coach oversaw his side surrender a two-goal aggregate lead to lose 3-2 in Spain, which saw the French side knocked out of the Champions League.
Given that the European competition is such a massive priority for PSG, it's a major blow to the club to eliminated at such an early stage.
As such, pressure on Pochettino is likely to increase and, potentially could cost him his job.
Should he leave the French capital, then Manchester United could make their move for him, having been heavily linked for some time now.
The Premier League side will be looking for a new permanent boss in the summer, however, speaking on The Sports Bar, co-hosts Jamie O'Hara and Jason Cundy think the defeat may have cast a doubt in the minds of the Old Trafford hierarchy.
"I'm a fan of Pochettino, and... yes [he is] world class," the former Chelsea centre-back said hesitantly.
"But tonight, that's a black mark on his name."
Former Spurs midfielder O'Hara, though, did not agree and said he can't be an elite manager when he can lose games despite having the talent he has at his disposal.
"You can't be classed as a world class manager when you've got Neymar, [Kylian] Mbappe and [Lionel] Messi in your side and you get knocked out of the Champions League before the quarter-finals."
Cundy then added: "I think there will be a lot of Man United fans watching that thinking 'maybe he isn't quite the real deal, maybe he's not that elite manager'.
"We Just saw [Real Madrid boss Carlo] Ancelotti do a number on him, Ancelotti has been around the block."
The pair then questioned Pochettino's tactics with O'Hara claiming the difference between him and legendary United boss Sir Alex Ferguson, who very often made the right calls from the bench.
“I was watching Manchester United vs Aston Villa earlier today, it was [the 2010] cup final game and Sir Alex Ferguson, when [Villa] went 1-0 up, his in-game management [was excellent].
"And his in-game management, Pochettino, lets him down.
“It’s the tactical side of it, when something is happening, and you sense it, and everyone can see it and he doesn’t make changes.
“In that game Alex Ferguson changes the formation, puts Rooney on the left and goes 4-5-1 and shuts up shop, and you can’t break them down.
“PSG are still open, you can’t fall apart and give three goals away when you’re winning the game 2-0.
“The players have let themselves down, but the manager is standing there on the sidelines who is out of the emotion of the game and should be standing there thinking ‘I can sense this is going the other way here, I need to make a change, tweak it a little bit, tell a player to go down, we can re-group, have a quick chat and say lets go 4-5-1 for five minutes and see it out’.
“But to completely fall apart like they did and Pochettino standing there not making any tactical changes, for me is criminal.
“I just find it with Pochettino, he does it a lot, he’s slow to react."
