Chelsea and Man United target wants to stay at Sevilla

Chelsea and Manchester United target Ivan Rakitic has suggested his future lies at Sevilla after reiterating his happiness with life at the La Liga club.

Rakitic continued his impressive run of form by striking Sevilla's equaliser in their 1-1 draw at high-flying Atletico Madrid on Sunday to take his tally for the season to 11 goals in all competitions.

The Switzerland-born Croatia international is out of contract in the summer of 2015 and has been attracting admiring glances from within Spain and around the continent but has hinted he will prolong his spell at Sevilla.

"I like playing for Sevilla, in the present, the future and always," he is quoted as saying in Spanish newspaper Estadio Deportivo. "I am very happy here at this club. And also my family are too."

The 25-year-old has scored nine goals in 58 international appearances for Croatia.
