Ex-Chelsea star Tammy Abraham breaks Gabriel Batistuta record as he, Mohamed Salah and Kevin De Bruyne put Romelu Lukaku, Kai Havertz and Mason Mount to shame

Goals have been a problem at times for Chelsea this season and they may be looking on with envy at their former players lighting up their respective leagues.
Romelu Lukaku was their marquee signing in the summer and he has not hit the ground running as the club would have liked, but is still their top scorer on 12.
That statistic probably sums up the issues the club have had going forward.
Thomas Tuchel’s attack boasts hundreds of millions worth of talent, but they have not been as free-flowing as their rivals.
In the Premier League, the Blues have scored 57 compared to Man City's 68 and Liverpool's 75.
Over the Roman Abramovich era, Chelsea made a habit of buying up some of the best young talents in world football, while also nurturing others through their academy.
Some have gone on to star for the first team, while others have left for elsewhere.
While there have been many examples of the Blues making the right call, there are plenty of instances where they may just be regretting that decision.
Tammy Abraham was sold for £34million to Roma last summer and he has been firing for Jose Mourinho’s side.
The England striker has 23 goals, and four assists, with the Serie A club - that’s the same number as Lukaku and Kai Havertz combined.
He broke Gabriel Batistuta’s debut season record and is adored by the Roma fans, and the club will unlikely want to sell him any time soon.
It would have been far cheaper to keep him, but they can buy him back for £66.6million in 2023.
That’s roughly as much as it would cost to sign Erling Haaland this summer from Borussia Dortmund.
Next up is Mohamed Salah, who is arguably the best player in the world at the moment on current form.
Salah has fired in 28 goals, and 10 assists, this season for Liverpool as they fight to win the quadruple.
The 29-year-old didn’t quite cut it at Stamford Bridge and he joined Roma permanently in 2016, following a loan spell, before then heading to Anfield.
Then there’s also the small matter of Kevin De Bruyne, who has been the heartbeat Pep Guardiola's Man City side.
It has been a stop-start season for De Bruyne, but he has still managed 10 goals and five assists in 2021/22. Only Mason Mount has more goal involvements (20) than the Belgium superstar.
The 30-year-old played just nine times for the Blues in the 2013/14 season before joining Wolfsburg.
That attacking trio of Abraham, Salah and De Bruyne would be among the best in world football on current form.
Their combined 61 goals and 19 assists far outstrips the 31 goals and 15 assists that Lukaku, Mount and Kai Havertz have managed this campaign.
Chelsea are still fighting to win the FA Cup and are attempting to retain the Champions League, but may be thinking what could have been with just one of the star attacking players they let go.
