Arsenal transfer news: Lyon president doesn't expect Gunners to bid again for Alexandre Lacazette

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas does not expect Arsenal to make another offer for Alexandre Lacazette.

The Gunners have already failed with a £29.3million offer for the striker as they look to bring in a new forward this summer.

Lyon deemed the offer too low, while also informing Arsenal that the player was irreplaceable and not for sale.

There has been talk that Arsenal would return with a new bid of around £33.5million as they refuse to give up in their pursuit of Lacazette.

However, Aulas thinks that Arsene Wenger has now given up and will instead look at other targets.

"Arsenal have not come back and will not come back. Nobody will be leaving Lyon save Rachid Ghezzal - if he has an offer, which I doubt," Aulas told L'Equipe.
