Arsenal target is not for sale, insists Lyon boss

Lyon have no interest in selling Arsenal target Yoann Gourcuff now the midfielder is finally fulfilling his potential.

The Frenchman has shown promise for most of his career but is yet to have the impact on European football his early bursts of form promised.

Now, however, under coach and former Arsenal player Remi Garde, the 27-year-old has three goals in the last four games and is doing much more for the team than his impressive stats depict.

"Even if it was fewer [goals], Yoann, through his involvement, is one of the players on whom I can rely to solve tactical problems on the pitch," Garde said.

"In this too, he is a technical leader. Today he is a different boy who takes great pleasure in the game and the team that is looking to improve suits him well."
