DEAL CLOSE! West Ham near deal for new left-back as cover for injured Aaron Cresswell – Slaven Bilic

West Ham boss Slaven Bilic has revealed the club are closing in on a new left-back.
The Hammers are in the market for a left-sided defender after Aaron Cresswell was ruled out four months with a knee injury.
Bilic admits he has players in his squad who can cover for the Englishman, but he is also closing in on an out-and-out replacement.
"Before Cresswell got injured we were looking to strengthen in that position anyway," said Bilic.
"Even before we were looking to bring someone in to be a back up and to give competition with Cresswell.
"But we are not the only ones looking for a left back, most of the clubs are. Now with the Cresswell injury that task becomes a priority.
"We have a few options there but players like [Sam] Byram, [Angelo] Ogbonna or even [Havard] Nordtveit can jump in."We are quite close to getting someone in."
