Transfer report: Manchester City starlet David Faupala set for NAC Breda loan switch

Manchester City teen star David Faupala is set for a loan switch to NAC Breda.

The 19-year-old, who arrived from Lens this time last year, scored on his one and only appearances for the first team last term, grabbing City's consolation in the 5-1 FA Cup defeat at Chelsea.

And new manager Pep Guardiola has decided to allow Faupala to head out on loan in order to gain further first-team experience.

Auxerre and Tours had both expressed an interest in a move for the young Frenchman but, according to L'Equipe, he is now set to become the latest young City star to join Breda.

His team-mates Ashley Smith-Brown and Thomas Agyepong have already agreed temporary deals with the Dutch second-tier side and Faupala looks set to become the third.
