Tottenham 1 Wolves 0 LIVE reaction: Harry Kane’s 250th Spurs goal takes Antonio Conte’s men to the top of the Premier League

Tottenham extended their unbeaten start to the season with a hard-fought victory over Wolves at home.

The visitors were much the better side in the first half, and could have taken the lead when new signing Matheus Nunes headed just past the far post at 0-0.

However, Spurs were a different animal in the second half and after Harry Kane and Heung-min Son hit the woodwork, the former popped up with the winner.

Son's corner was flicked on by Perisic and there was Kane to power a header home for his 250th Tottenham goal that, temporarily, moved Antonio Conte's side to the top of the league.
