Real Mallorca manager Javier Aguirre allegedly instructed his players to injure Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr during their LaLiga clash.

The star Brazilian scored the go-ahead goal in a 4-1 home win over the island side, but was the subject of a flashpoint when he made a beeline for the opposition bench.

Vinicius, scorer of the Champions League final-winning goal against Liverpool, was seen in an angry confrontation with Mallorca’s Aguirre and had to be calmed down by Toni Kroos and Carlo Ancelotti.

The 22-year-old had a rough time at the Bernabeu as he was repeatedly sent tumbling by opposition players and upset some fans with a ‘SIU’ Cristiano Ronaldo celebration after his delightful goal.

There were a number of exchanges between Vinicius and Mallorca players, and then later, with the game virtually won, he gave up on the ball and ran towards the opposition bench pointing at the manager.

After Kroos intervened, claims Vinicius was spotted telling teammate Nacho: “He said ‘hit him, hit him’. The coach said ‘hit him!’”

Spanish that Aguirre used the word ‘rompelo’ which means ‘break it’.

The former Mexico and Atletico Madrid boss was asked about the coming together post-match and said: "What happens on the pitch stays there."

There are some concerns that Vinicius will repeatedly be targeted in the same manner Lionel Messi and Neymar were before him due to his unstoppable form.

In fact, El Dia Despues think that was confirmed during the match when Vinicius said, ‘They don’t let me play’.

Opposition defender Jaume Costa replied: “But that’s all we can do,” before the pair exchanged a hug.

The Brazilian’s comments began early on when he complained to the referee and was told ‘speak well’.

Vinicius replied: “Yes, yes, and you,” and was later told ‘Play’ by captain Kroos, and ‘Silence’ by Ancelotti.

The legendary Italian was also seen speaking to opposition players on the touchline, perhaps in an effort to stop the tackles spiralling out of control.

Stats show Vinicius is being fouled three times per game this season, the third-highest rate in the league, up from his average of 2.1 times per match during the last campaign.

The winger also has five goals and one assist in six games this season, helping Madrid to a perfect start to the season meaning they’re the only team left in Europe’s top five leagues with a 100 per cent record.
