Transfer report: Juventus deal for Blaise Matuidi in doubt – Chelsea or Manchester United to pounce?

Juventus' move for Blaise Matuidi is stalling due to the player's salary demands.
The Italian champions have agreed a fee of around £21m with Paris Saint-Germain for the midfielder and are now in contract talks with him.
However, according to L'Equipe, negotiations have hit a brick wall due to the France international's wages.
Currently Matuidi earns around £10.3m-a-year by playing for PSG, but Juventus simply cannot match that offer.
The Serie A side are hoping to reach a compromise with the 29-year-old in the coming days or else they will pursue other targets.
Juventus' failure to get a deal for Matuidi over the line could allow Chelsea and Manchester United, who have been linked with the Frenchman this summer, to swoop in.
