Only a huge £200m spending spree will rescue Man United and ensure the poor season the club are enduring is a one off.

Former Liverpool chief executive Christian Purslow told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast that the Man United owners cannot afford not to back manager David Moyes in the summer. "They need around £150-200m worth of talent, that’s five or six £25m players," he said.
