West Ham face Belgian side Anderlecht in the Europa Conference League on Thursday as they aim to continue their winning streak. 

David Moyes’ side have won their last four games in Europe which is their longest-ever run in UEFA competitions.

The Hammers beat Wolves last time out in the Premier League to pick up a crucial win following three league games without victory. 

They now come up against Anderlecht who are behind the London side in second place in Group B.

However, the Purple and White are only 10th in the Belgian Pro League having made a disappointing start to the campaign.

This Conference League clash will take place on Thursday, October 6. 

The game at Lotto Park in Belgium will kick off at 5:45pm.

Anderlecht vs West Ham: Team news 

Former Spurs defender Jan Vertonghen is expected to be a part of the Anderlecht back three.

However, the Belgian side will remain without Marco Kana and Adrien Trebel.

Maxwel Cornet would have been likely to start for West Ham but after being substituted in the first half at the weekend, he is now a doubt.

Full-back Ben Johnson is in contention to return after recovering from injury.

Hammers boss Moyes is happy with his squad ahead of the match but is wary of a challenging game this evening.

He said: “I think we wanted a stronger squad of players so we could come to Europe and play a really strong team. We've just about got everyone back.

“I wouldn't in any way disrespect Anderlecht in any way at all. It's incredibly tough to do, come away and get results. 

“They will want to win, see a chance to try and go above us. At the moment, we look like the teams with the most points.”
