What Man City boss Pep Guardiola did when Mohamed Salah span Joao Cancelo for Liverpool’s winning goal at Anfield

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola dropped to his knees as Mohamed Salah raced clear in anticipation of the Liverpool star slotting the ball home.
And that's exactly what the 30-year-old did as the Reds forward curled past Ederson after spinning Joao Cancelo on the halfway line.
Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson claimed a Kevin De Bruyne free-kick, before instantly looking to feed Salah with a big punt forward.
The Egypt international used his body brilliantly to turn Cancelo and go one-on-one with Ederson, where he made no mistake in bending the ball around the goalkeeper.
His strike turned out to be the only goal of the game as Liverpool inflicted a first Premier League defeat of the season on the Citizens, who now trail table-toppers Arsenal by four points in the Premier League.
And in brilliant footage, Guardiola could be seen gesturing to his players to get back into position as soon as Alisson got hold of the ball.
He then then sunk to his knees with his head in his hands on the floor after Salah got the better of Cancelo.
Guardiola then looked up just as the ex-Chelsea winger found the back of the net as he gingerly got back to his feet.
Speaking after the defeat on the goal, Guardiola said: "We conceded a goal because of a mistake, and we didn’t follow the transition.
"Alisson plays it out quick, Kevin didn’t follow, and Joao lost the duel.
"It is always so difficult against Salah with the way he uses his body.
"This is something we have to learn for future tight games against Liverpool, but the way we played, the performance and the courage we played with was fantastic.”
Guardiola also revealed that Liverpool fans threw objects at him following Phil Foden's disallowed strike in the second half.
He remarked: "Next time we will do it better. It didn’t get me. They try it again next year.
“All these coins, they tried, but didn’t get it. They got the coach years ago.”
Liverpool have vowed to give lifetime bans to anyone found guilty of lobbing coins or objects at the Spanish gaffer.
Jurgen Klopp also condemned the actions of his side's supporters, as he stated: "Oh, horrible. I am sorry.
"I apologise for that. I had no idea about it. It never should happen, never.”
