Tottenham were denied three points after Harry Kane's last-gasp goal was ruled out by VAR with Antonio Conte sent off in the aftermath.

They will now have to wait until their final group game against Marseille to secure their qualification after the 1-1 draw with Sporting Lisbon

Former Spurs player Marcus Edwards opened the scoring for the visitors before Rodrigo Bentancur headed in an equaliser.

Kane then smashed home a winner in the final minute of stoppage time, leading to manic celebrations in London.

However, after a long VAR check the goal was ruled out and Conte was shown a straight red card for his reaction.
