Leandro Trossard has been backed by talkSPORT pundit Gabby Agbonlahor to shine at Arsenal, Chelsea or Tottenham if he were to leave Brighton.

The 27-year-old winger has been one of the standout players in the Premier League this season having chipped in with seven goals in 12 games.

Just one goal shy of his tally from last campaign, the Belgium international has scored against Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea so far this term.

He broke the deadlock in Saturday's 4-1 victory over Graham Potter's side at the Amex Stadium to help the Seagulls move up to eighth in the table.

A January move away from the south coast has been mooted, with the stating Newcastle are eyeing up a swoop.

Brighton could be willing to part ways with the forward in a cut-price deal with Trossard set to become a free agent next summer.

But Agbonlahor believes the ex-Genk ace would thrive at any of the three big London clubs.

He told : "He’s improved so much. He’s adding goals as well, he’s a threat.

"The goal he scored [against Chelsea], composure, into the corner of the net and he could be one that starts regularly for Belgium.

"He’s going to attract a lot of clubs over Europe - Premier League clubs will look at him as well.

"I think he could do a job at Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs.

"So I think now he’s playing like he is, maybe January, if Brighton can get a bit of money for him, they might look to sell him in January."

Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi is desperate for Trossard to sign a new contract extension.

The Italian gaffer recently said: "This is not the right moment to speak about the new contract.

"But in terms of the other players, for sure I hope and I would like Trossard to sign a new contract.

"But for the moment we have spoken about this with the club."
