‘Progressing’ – Gabriel Jesus gives Arsenal fans promising update on knee injury but Mikel Arteta admits there is ‘no time frame’ on Brazil star’s comeback

Gabriel Jesus has given Arsenal fans an update on his recovery from knee surgery.
The Gunners striker suffered a serious injury during the 2022 World Cup and left the Brazil camp early.
After a successful operation earlier this month, Jesus is expected to be sidelined for up to three months.
Arsenal are currently top of the Premier League and there are fears among fans that the star striker's absence could derail the club's title bid.
In a promising update on Thursday, the 25-year-old shared a picture of himself walking on crutches alongside the caption: "Progressing."
But manager Mikel Arteta has refused to put a target date on Jesus' recovery.
And he has even suggested Arsenal may sign a replacement in January.
He said: "With Gabi it’s difficult to put a time frame. I never gave a date. I said that we don’t know.
"It’s going to take some time for sure. He’s gone through surgery and that tells you the extent of the injury.
"We will be in the market always active and we will assess the biggest opportunities that we have."
