Atletico Madrid’s £8million loan fee for forward Joao Felix proving to be ‘prohibitive’ after being offered to Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United

Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have reservations about meeting Atletico Madrid's £8million loan fee for Joao Felix, talkSPORT understands.
The 23-year-old is available in January having fallen out of favour under boss Diego Simeone at the Wanda Metropolitano.
Atletico CEO Miguel Angel Gil Marin revealed earlier this month that the Portugal international is up for grabs - leading to interest from a number of Premier League clubs.
Felix has been offered to Arsenal, Chelsea and United, with all three teams in the market to bolster their attack in the New Year.
But talkSPORT's Alex Crook has declared that Atletico's £8m loan fee is proving to be 'prohibitive' for the English trio.
The figure is particularly high for the Red Devils, with the Glazer family reluctant to invest as they look to sell the club.
And Crook has also ruled out Wolves, who have made a habit out of signing Portuguese players in recent years, from bringing in the ex-Benfica star.
Crook : "Re Joao Felix. He is being hawked around to various Premier League clubs including Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United.

"(Wolves not at that table at present).
"Desired loan fee of around £8m is proving prohibitive, particularly for United with ownership uncertainty."
Felix has established himself as one of Europe's most exciting players since joining Atletico in 2019, where he has scored 33 goals in 129 games.
Arsenal are looking to bring in a forward following Gabriel Jesus' injury, with Chelsea eyeing up a replacement for Armando Broja due to his knee knock.
Meanwhile United boss Erik ten Hag has made landing a striker a key priority after Cristiano Ronaldo had his contract terminated by mutual consent.
Should United turn up the chance to sign Felix, they could turn to his Atletico teammate Alvaro Morata.
state that the Chelsea flop is an option for United if the Spanish side are willing to listen to loan offers.
United had been keen on securing the services of PSV marksman Cody Gakpo, only for Liverpool to swoop in and hijack the deal.
