Chelsea earned their first league win in four as they battled to a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge.

During the game, the Blues announced the signing of Mykhailo Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk for around £88m and he was presented to the crowd at half time.

But on the pitch, it was Kai Havertz who scored the crucial goal as he powered in Hakim Ziyech's cross in the second half to seal a massive win.

Kepa Arrizabalaga made a few good saves as the Blues fought off some late Palace pressure but it was a deserved win for the hosts.
