Liverpool and Chelsea played out a 0-0 draw at Anfield as Mykhailo Mudryk made his Premier League debut.

The Blues were the better team and had an early Kai Havertz goal ruled out before they saw Benoit Badiashile's header saved by Alisson Becker.

The Reds started the second half well and Graham Potter responded by bringing Mudryk on and he made an instant impression.

The forward was close to scoring and created a massive chance for Carney Chukwuemeka at the end, but he couldn't find the finish.

Overall, it was a game that lacked quality but the visitors will be happy with a point and the hosts will be pleased to have kept a clean sheet.
