West Brom BLOW! Palermo interested in Baggies target and ex-Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh

Palermo have joined West Brom in the race for former Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh.

The 32-year-old is currently on the hunt for a new club after being released by Crystal Palace at the end of last season.

West Brom have shown an interest in the Moroccan and he has been on trial with the club in recent weeks.

However, according to Corriere dello Sport, Palermo are also interested in signing Chamakh as a free agent.

The Italian club are struggling to find the net this season and they are eager to bolster their attack.

However, with the transfer window now closed, Palermo have limited options available and are ready to swoop for Chamakh.
