Michel Vorm issues warning to Hugo Lloris over 'horrible' White Hart Lane conditions as Tottenham No.1 prepares to make home return

Michel Vorm has warned Hugo Lloris conditions inside White Hart Lane have become 'horrible' for goalkeepers following the partial demolition of the stadium.

Sections of the North and East stands were torn down in pre-season as building work on Tottenham's new 61,000 seater stadium gathers pace.

And Vorm has revealed to talkSPORT 2 the removal of around 4,000 seats now allows side winds to swirl across the turf on match day, causing problems for those between the posts.

Lloris conceded twice at Wembley in midweek, but hasn't played a home match this season after picking up a hamstring injury away at Everton on the opening day.

The Frenchman will make his first appearance of the campaign at White Hart Lane on Sunday when Sunderland visit.

Vorm, who is set to be on the bench, told talkSPORT: "The wind with the side open is swirling around, it's different.

"It's one of those things that you can't do anything about.

"We need to concentrate on our own game and not think about the hole (in the stand).

"But for me, as a goalkeeper, the wind is just horrible."
