If one lesson is to be taken from Chelsea's recent spending antics, it's that they mean business.

The Blues spent close to £300million in the January transfer window, and many will believe that such expenditure was needed.

The biggest signing of the window was Chelsea's capture of Enzo Fernandez.

The World Cup winner with Argentina signed from Benfica for a British record transfer fee of £106.8million deal on deadline day.

Mykhailo Mudryk and Joao Felix are two of their other notable arrivals, and both have already played for their new side.

Graham Potter's side welcomed eight players in total last month, all of whom will be looking to make an impact on a team who have struggled this season.

Chelsea sit 10th in the Premier League after 20 games and next face Fulham at home, with talkSPORT providing exclusive live commentary of the match.

They have had nearly two weeks off since their last match, a 0-0 draw away at Liverpool.

Here is how marvelbet369.com predicts Chelsea will line up for the west London derby against Fulham on Friday night.

Kepa Arrizabalaga will maintain his spot in goal ahead of Edouard Mendy following two clean sheets in as many games.

Blues fans could see the return of Reece James at right-back, with the 23-year-old recently absent due to knee injury.

Recent reports have said he is in contention to start against Fulham, with his last appearance coming shortly after Christmas.

At centre-back, Thiago Silva is likely to be paired with January arrival Benoit Badiashile, who has impressed in his first two games.

Marc Cucurella will remain at left-back, with Ben Chilwell close to a return from injury.

Potter's biggest line-up conundrum is likely to come in the midfield positions.

Many Chelsea fans will be eager to see Fernandez start, but the Blues boss wasn't able to confirm he will be able feature.

"We’re very pleased to have Enzo with us," he on Thursday during his press conference.

"We’ll see whether he can be involved tomorrow, we’ve got to get through the paperwork and make sure he gets the relevant clearance and all of that stuff.

"I’ve spoken with him today. My Spanish isn’t the best and his English isn’t great, so we needed to lean on the translator but we’ll get there. He is an impressive young man and we're looking forward to working with him."

Mason Mount will also join them in the middle of the pitch, but playing in a more advanced role ahead of the duo.
