Manchester United transfer pursuit of Tottenham star Harry Kane hits obstacle as £107m striker Victor Osimhen becomes top priority despite Real Madrid and Chelsea interest

Manchester United have their eyes set on another forward over Harry Kane this summer.

The Tottenham star is set to be at the centre of another transfer saga again as he enters the final year of his contract in June.

It remains to be seen whether the England international will sign a new deal at Spurs but a move to United appears to be off the cards.

According to , Tottenham will not sell to their Premier League rivals despite the fact that it could mean Kane leaving on a free transfer in 2024.

The 29-year-old recently became the highest-ever goalscorer at the north London club after netting the winner against Manchester City but where the striker could end up is a mystery.

It has led United to end their pursuit in Kane but identify a new target in the shape of Victor Osimhen, who is the top scorer in Serie A with Napoli.

The Nigeria international has been in flying form this season and has been courted by some of Europe's biggest clubs over the past couple of years.

But Erik ten Hag might be leading the race and it is reported in Italy that United are prepared to meet Napoli's asking price of £107million (€120m).

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, via , the Red Devils are ready to invest in the 24-year-old as they look to bring in a big-name striker this summer.
