Thiago Silva injured stopping Tottenham star Harry Kane and hands Chelsea captain’s armband to Reece James

Chelsea captain Thiago Silva picked up a match-ending injury after a tangle with Tottenham’s Harry Kane.
The Brazilian defender left the field in the 19th minute of a 2-0 London derby loss of his own accord, but was hobbling with what appeared to be a knee injury.
The 38-year-old vitally cut out a promising attacking move from Kane in the Blues box, but instantly looked in pain as he overstretched himself.
He was then replaced by £70million summer signing Wesley Fofana who has also struggled with injury since moving from Leicester.
England international Reece James took the captain’s armband, while Fofana made just his fourth appearance in the Premier League.
Silva, meanwhile, was on his 21st, the most of any of Graham Potter’s defenders, with his side desperate to end a five-game winless run.
They couldn't manage it though, instead ending up with the worst case scenario, losing 2-0 to their fierce rivals.
A botched clearance saw Oliver Skipp blast home his first Spurs goal, before Kane snuck in at the far-post to end the match.
