Spurs flop Lamela will NOT leave White Hart Lane this summer

Tottenham's club-record signing Erik Lamela will not leave the club for a return to Roma in the summer, according to his brother.

The winger was signed last summer from the Serie A side for around £30m and earmarked as Gareth Bale's replacement due to his pace and skill.

However, the 22-year-old has started just three Premier League matches this season and has struggled with injuries and the language barrier.

To add to his misery, the Argentina international has not played since January 1 due to a back injury, but when asked on Twitter if he was set to quit White Hart Lane at the end of the season, his brother simply replied: "No."
