The Champions League returns on Tuesday with two second leg ties taking place, including Chelsea taking on Borussia Dortmund with the winners reaching the last eight of this season's competition.

The standout tie on Tuesday sees Chelsea looking to overturn a 1-0 first leg deficit against Borussia Dortmund and Stamford Bridge.

The Blues got their first win in seven matches on the weekend with victory over a struggling Leeds side, while Borussia Dortmund travel to London having won their last 10 matches in all competitions.

Chelsea are down in 10th in the Premier League table while only goal difference separates Borussia Dortmund from the Bundesliga's summit.

Graham Potter's side did perform well in the away leg despite the defeat and with the winless run now over, a weight may have been lifted off the Blues' shoulders ahead of the tie, as they look to reach the last eight for the third season in a row.

The Champions League's other match on Tuesday sees the Belgian champions Club Brugge, managed by Scott Parker, travel to Lisbon to take on Liga Portugal leaders Benfica.

The Portuguese side have a 2-0 advantage from the first leg and have won four matches in a row ahead of the tie, losing just one in 12.

Club Brugge are currently fourth in the Jupiler Pro League, 21 points behind league leaders Genk, and have won just one of their last six matches ahead of their trip to Portugal.
