Danny Rose’s fashion choices the talk of Twitter before he asks cheeky question to Eddie Howe about Newcastle comeback

Danny Rose's fashion choices were the talk of Twitter as he cheekily enquired over a Newcastle return with boss Eddie Howe.
Rose spent six months on loan at St James’ Park in 2020, making 11 appearances for the Magpies.
He was part of Sky Sports’ coverage of Newcastle’s crucial clash with Tottenham on Sunday and was handed the microphone during a pre-match interview with Howe.
In a random turn of events, Rose used his platform in the most opportunistic way possible by hilariously asking Howe whether there was space for him at the club.
And just the last question,. “ Do you need a third-choice left-back by any chance?”
His question had the panel in stitches before Howe replied with: “I’ll certainly bear you in mind, Danny.”
Jamie Redknapp then brilliantly weighed in with “He’s got his kit on underneath."
Rose turning out for Sky Sports donned in the black and white stripes would sure to have have cut him less slack than what he received on social media for his outfit of choice.
Rose opted for a hat and outfit reminiscent of a sailor or military personnel.
And football fans have let him know about it across social media, leaving users in hysterics.
One fan wrote: “Danny Rose in town for an American civil war reenactment?”
Another added: “Why does Danny Rose look like he’s just told Darth Vader some bad news and is going to get lifted off the ground using a force choke?”
A Twitter user went one better, suggesting Rose was Dressed like pop star Cheryl Cole, writing: “Why is Danny Rose ready to fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for this love?”
Rose has been without a club since leaving Watford in 2022 but his tongue-in-cheek question to Howe may have had more substance to it than it first appeared.
At just 32-years-old, the former England defender still feels he can do a job in the Premier League and his pitch to Howe may just have reminded one or two clubs of his availability.
