World Cup qualifying: Joe Allen scores as Wales hold Austria, Seamus Coleman solo run seals win for Republic of Ireland

Wales retained their place at the top of Group D as they held Austria to a 2-2 draw at the Ernst Happel Stadium - LIVE on talkSPORT.
Joe Allen gave Wales the lead with a thunderous effort before Marco Arnautovic levelled the scores with a deft header.
Chris Coleman’s men restored their lead on the stroke of half-time when James Chester’s header was saved before finding the net after the ball deflected off Tottenham defender Kevin Wimmer.
But Austria salvaged a point as Arnautovic beat the offside trap to score his second of the night to leave Wales, Serbia, Republic of Ireland and Austria level on four points.
Republic of Ireland 1-0 Georgia
The Republic of Ireland kept pace with the rest of Group D as they narrowly beat Georgia 1-0 at the Aviva Stadium.
Seamus Coleman scored the only goal of the game to give the Irish a crucial three points in their bid to qualify for a World Cup for the first time in 14 years.
Martin O’Neill’s side sit in fourth place level on points with Wales, Serbia and Austria.
