PSV defender set for shock Manchester United move?

Santiago Arias’ agent has fuelled suggestions the Colombian defender could be on his way to Manchester United after admitting there has been interest from England in the youngster.

However United, who have scouted Arias in recent months, will face stiff competition from Valencia, as well as other clubs in Spain.

The 22-year-old joined PSV Eindhoven in a bargain £570,000 deal from Sporting Lisbon in July and has impressed over the course of 31 appearances in all competitions this season.

Arias’ representative in Spain, Javier Piquer, believes the right-back could be on his way again later this year, revealing several clubs are monitoring his availability.

He told Superdeporte: "I confirm the interest of Valencia, which is already in the public domain, as well as other teams, including some from Spain and England."
