Robin van Persie’s Man United goal left me awestruck but I only wanted to be Thierry Henry – I even had his boots!

Gabriel Agbonlahor has seen some great moments over the years in the Premier League - including a special Robin van Persie goal.
Having played for Aston Villa his entire career, the one-club man has been through some highs and lows at Villa Park.
But one moment left him awestruck when Van Persie executed one of the most incredible volleys ever seen in the Premier League.
The talkSPORT host was on the Old Trafford pitch when Man United won their 20th title and insists it was not his fault.
"I actually tried to run through and played a one-two with Andi Weimann. He didn't get his body in front and he gave it away.
"So I'm not taking fault for that one, he gave it away!
"Then [Wayne] Rooney picks out Van Persie, over the top and he left it over his head and volleys into the corner.
"People don't realise how hard that technique is, that is one that some players, maybe even myself, don't even kick the ball.
"Very, very tough. You have to imagine the ball is coming over your head and you don't even know where the goal is.
"Van Persie is aware. He is one of those players that knows where the goal is wherever they are on the pitch.
"That was something that stood out for me and made me go 'wow'."
Agbonlahor was also asked to name his dream five-a-side team of players he would love to have played with, including himself, and while Van Persie did not make the cut, another Premier League legend did.
Goalkeeper: Ederson
"It has got to be Ederson. For one, in a five-a-side he is a perfect goalkeeper because he can find you on the pitch and he can even score goals.
"If you're playing five-a-side and your goalkeeper can score, he can come out with the ball.
"You see some of his assists for Manchester City, me as a player I'd always run in behind… some of the goalkeepers I played with would kick it out of play."
Defender: Paolo Maldini
"I know he's not in the Premier League but growing up watching that AC Milan team and watching Maldini, so strong.
"I haven't seen many defenders to deal with Ronaldo, Maldini did.
"Just a die-hard defender, body on the line.
"And very good on the ball as well, could play with the ball and had longevity as well.
"He's a defender you'd love to have in your side."
Midfielder: Kevin de Bruyne
"I have got to put Kevin de Bruyne. I feel like if I played with De Bruyne, just the way I played my game and the runs I made, get through on goal.
"With someone like that, you could make any run.
"When you watch these City players they make any run, unrealistic runs, where the ball shouldn't even find you.
"But he would make the ball find you so he is definitely someone I would have loved to have played with."
Striker: Thierry Henry
"My other attacker is Thierry Henry, I am just obsessed with him, even still. As a kid, I loved watching Arsenal.
"I was a Villa fan but Arsenal were my second team and I was obsessed with Thierry Henry.
"I had the Nike Vapours as a kid because of Thierry Henry, wanted to be like him, wanted to do the inside of the right foot finish like him.
"Didn't work out quite like that! But I did score a couple of goals!
"I am lucky to have played against him a few times and managed to swap shirts with him.
"When he came back at wore No. 12 at Arsenal and I still have got that back at home.
"So it is Thierry Henry, for me, the greatest ever player to play in the Premier League."
