Man City star Kyle Walker jokes avoiding ‘rainbow flick’ was reason for Vinicius Jr hug

Kyle Walker has revealed his post-match hug with Vinicius Jr was due to the Brazilian’s attempts to make a meme out of him at the Bernabeu.
The Manchester City right-back faced off against the Real Madrid winger in last week's Champions League semi-final first-leg which ended 1-1.
The 22-year-old's superb strike opened the scoring for the LaLiga side before Kevin De Bruyne levelled for City in the second half.
After the final whistle, Walker was seen heading in Vinicius Jr’s direction with his arms outstretched before hugging him in what appeared to be a friendly exchange between the pair.
But the 32-year-old has since revealed that the hug was a joke after the ex-Flamengo star tried to perform a flashy trick on him.
“I went to hug him because he tried to rainbow flick me,” Walker said ahead of Wednesday night’s second leg at the Etihad - live on talkSPORT.
“So it was kind of more like ‘please don’t try that again.’ I don't want to be a meme or anything.
“But I think boxers, they fight, they have a good battle and they shake hands after and I think that’s the level of respect I do have for him.
“It’s the same with any other player, when it’s a good game you go and give them that level of respect because they deserve it.”
Walker is relishing the opportunity to take on the holders with a place in next month’s final at stake, but knows that Madrid will be fired up after conceding the Spanish title to Barcelona.
He remarked: “They’ve not done well in their league and this is their last prize that they need to go and win.
“Carrying a massive club over the line in the Champions League, you show your respect.
"Tomorrow night, I'll give him the respect he deserves at full-time, but before that is dog eat dog.”
