Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr appears to have taken inspiration from compatriot and Manchester United forward Antony.

The Brazil international was spotted practising a spin similar to one that Antony was lambasted for and loved in equal measure during his time in the Premier League.

And in Manchester City's Etihad Stadium, where Vinicius and his teammates were training before the semi-final second leg, he had a go too.

It certainly attracted lots of attention on social media, and you can check out the move in the video below at 8 minutes and 31 seconds.

One fan said: "He's making fun of Antony."

A second added: "Vinicius JR trying to live up to Antony's qualities."

Another stated: "People don’t call Vini a fidget spinner but when it’s a Man United player they do."

A fourth wrote: "He’s taking the p*** out of Antony."

The 22-year-old forward was instrumental for Los Blancos in the first leg in the Spanish capital last week.

His brilliant strike opened the scoring at the Santiago Bernabeu, before Kevin De Bruyne equalised in equally impressive fashion, in the 1-1 draw last week.

The Brazil international, who netted in the Champions League final last season in the victory over Liverpool, has scored 23 goals for Real Madrid this season.
