Alexis Mac Allister and Moises Caicedo could be allowed to leave Brighton this summer.

That's the view of Roberto De Zerbi who is keen to ensure that only happy players are kept at the club as they look to kick on once again.

Caicedo and Mac Allister are both attracting substantial interest from the Premier League's biggest clubs.

The Seagulls are gearing up for a busy summer as they prepare for the prospect of playing European football next term, however first they'll need to ensure they keep hold of their star men.

Mac Allister is attracting huge interest this summer following his stunning displays for club and country this term.

Liverpool have been heavily linked with a move for the World Cup winner, however talk of an agreed deal was played down by the club's chief executive Paul Barber.

As for Caicedo, he's been the top of intense scrutiny following Arsenal's high-profile pursuit of the star in January.

The Gunners and Chelsea are both reported to be keen on a move, with De Zerbi suggesting that this weekend could be the final match in a Brighton shirt for some of their stars, saying: "It can be.

“They can have the possibility to change as they deserve to play at another level but now we can offer them the possibility to play in Europe.

“Our level is bigger now. I think it can help.

“The Europa Conference League is a very nice competition but everybody can see the Europa is more important.

“I don’t know if they can change. They will have more motivation but they are very good guys.

“When I work for myself and my club, I still think for the players.

“The players have one career, one life and we can’t decide for them. I don’t know what Tony will decide but if they want to leave, it is right they leave.”
