Manchester City lining up shock swap deal for Tottenham star

Manchester City are ready to offer Joe Hart to Tottenham as part of a stunning swap deal for Hugo Lloris, according to reports in France.

French football expert Julien Laurens told talkSPORT on Thursday that Lloris is growing increasingly frustrated with life at White Hart Lane and is likely to push for a move away in the summer.

The 27-year-old recently hinted at his displeasure with the side, saying it would be difficult for the team to do any worse next season.

And, according to L'Equipe, Manchester City will attempt to lure the France number one to the Etihad this summer.

Lloris is coveted by free-spending Monaco but does not favour a return to Ligue 1 less than two years after leaving Lyon and may welcome the chance to stay in England with City.

Manuel Pellegrini is believed to harbour concerns over Hart after dropping him earlier this season and the report claims he could offer the England international to Spurs in a player-plus-cash deal.
