Tearful Noel Gallagher predicts dynasty for Man City and sends advice to Premier League rivals

Noel Gallagher was crying his heart out after Manchester City secured their first-ever Champions League title.
Rodri’s match-winning goal midway through the second half was enough to hand City the Champions League trophy in front of 71,000 fans in Istanbul.
The 1-0 win against Inter means Pep Guardiola’s side have now matched Manchester United’s treble feat of 1999.
Ex-Oasis star Gallagher was not in attendance at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium, instead watching from the Man City Supporter's Club bar in San Diego.
But the die-hard City fan did phone talkSPORT after the match and when asked if he cried at the result, Gallagher said: "Of course!"
He added: “We’ve just done the treble, it’s only been done once before.
“An incredible achievement and we’ve done it well, we’re worthy winners in all three of the competitions.
“I thought we showed everything tonight, we were dogged, we were resilient.
“It was everything wrapped up in a football match. If we’d have lost that game tonight, the double would have been seen as a failure. That’s the standards that have been set by that football team.
“They were nervous. I was thousands of miles away and I could see it on the TV. I watch my team every week. I follow them everywhere and they were nervous, and rightly so."
He continued: “I thought it would be by the odd goal. I thought it would go to extra time and possibly penalties as well.
“But now we’ve got this one out of the way, there will be a belief in the fan base and the club. I can see us winning multiple Champions Leagues now.”
Gallagher paid tribute to Guardiola, referring to the Spanish tactician as a ‘genius’ whilst also reserving praise for beaten finalists Inter who pushed City all the way, despite going into the final as heavy underdogs.
“He’s the man,” the rock star added. “Next season he’ll rip it all up and come up with something else. He will reinvent it, he’s a genius and we all knew he was a genius before he came to England. He’s proved it time after time, five league championships in six years and a treble.
“This isn't the end of the journey. This is the end of the beginning. Once we won one Premier League we steamrollered on.
"I think this is bad for everybody else because I think once they got this out of the way... That was our worst performance of the season but they keep believing.
“Hats off to Inter, if anybody from the Premier League is wondering how you beat City, that’s it – playing two up front and five in the middle.”
