Bayern Munich in ‘advanced talks’ over Kyle Walker move with Man City not standing in star’s way

Bayern Munich are in 'advanced talks' over a move to sign Kyle Walker this summer.
According to Sky Sports, Thomas Tuchel is a key driver as the German giants look to convince the Manchester City star to move to the Bundesliga.
Amid the interest, talkSPORT understands that City will not stand in the defender's way should he decide to move on.
As talkSPORT revealed on Thursday, Walker is looking to quit City after finding his playing time at the Etihad reduced.
talkSPORT revealed earlier in the week how he is attracting interest from boyhood club Sheffield United and teams in Saudi Arabia.
The 33-year-old saw his impact on City’s treble-winning campaign dwindle as the season progressed.
Boss Pep Guardiola settled on a 3-2-4-1 formation, which saw Walker often left out of the line-up.
He then started on the bench in the club's Champions League final win over Inter Milan, potentially influencing his future even further.
With a contract that ends in 2024, this could be the final chance for City to recoup a fee for Walker.
Sky Germany also claim that Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol has verbally agreed on a move to the Etihad.
Along with Walker, fellow full-back Joao Cancelo could be allowed to depart the Etihad this summer.
He spent the second half of the 2022/23 season on loan at Bayern, who decided against turning his temporary stay into a permanent switch.
Arsenal are believed to be keen on Cancelo, but it remains to be seen whether City will sell to the Gunners as they look to mount another title tilt.
