Bayern Munich join race for Kai Havertz as ex-Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel bids to spoil Arsenal plan

Arsenal face competition from Bayern Munich for Chelsea forward Kai Havertz, talkSPORT understands.
Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel is pushing the club's hierarchy to make a bid for Havertz, who scored the winner in the 2021 Champions League final when he was in charge of Chelsea.
Arsenal have already had one offer for Havertz rejected by their London rivals and it is unclear whether the Gunners will meet Chelsea's asking price.
The 24-year-old was bought for £75million in 2020 and talkSPORT understands the Blues are demanding the same price this summer.
Havertz was a regular starter during Tuchel's 19 months in charge at Stamford Bridge.
However, the Germany international has struggled for goals throughout his Chelsea career, having moved into a centre-forward role.
The Blues are keen to offload a number of players this summer after spending more than £600m over the last two transfer windows.
Elsewhere, Chelsea recently rejected a £50m offer from Manchester United for academy graduate Mason Mount.
talkSPORT understands the England midfielder is valued at £70m.
Meanwhile, Bayern are also monitoring the situation of Arsenal target Declan Rice.
The Gunners saw their first bid for the £100m-rated West Ham captain knocked back - and Manchester City have also entered the mix.
