Marcus Rashford signs new Man United contract in double boost for club with Andre Onana deal agreed

Marcus Rashford has brought an end to speculation over his future by signing a new long-term deal at Manchester United.
The academy graduate has agreed to extend his stay at Old Trafford until June 2028.
Rashford's previous contract was due to expire next summer and he was in talks over an extension on improved terms for a lengthy period.
Paris Saint-Germain were among clubs who had been monitoring the England forward's situation.
But the 25-year-old has now committed his future to United, where he has been since the age of seven.
The deal is understood to be worth more than £350,000 per week and will put Rashford among the highest-paid players in the Premier League.
Speaking on his new contract, he said: “I joined Manchester United as a seven-year-old boy with a dream. That same passion, pride, and determination to succeed still drives me every time I have the honour of wearing the shirt.
“I’ve already had some amazing experiences at this incredible club, but there is still a lot more to achieve and I remain relentlessly determined to win more trophies in the years ahead.
“As a United fan all my life, I know the responsibility that comes with representing this badge and feel the highs and lows as much as anyone.
"I can assure you that I will give everything to help the team reach the level we are capable of, and I can feel the same determination around the dressing room. I couldn’t be more excited for the future under this manager.”
Rashford was a star performer for United under Erik ten Hag last season, scoring 30 goals in 56 games in all competitions.
In a double boost for the club, United have also agreed a deal to sign Andre Onana.
United have had an offer worth around £47million accepted by Inter Milan for the goalkeeper, who will replace David de Gea as their new number one.
He will join Mason Mount as a new arrival in Manchester, with the former Chelsea midfielder arriving for £55m.
Despite Rashford's career-best 30-goal season under Ten Hag last time out, the Dutch manager is still keen on adding another forward option.
With Tottenham's Harry Kane unattainable due to his £100m-plus price tag, United have turned to Atalanta's 20-year-old striker Rasmus Hojlund.
However, it's now understood that the Italian side are demanding £85m for the Danish striker, with United previously hoping a deal could be struck at the £40m mark.
