Peterborough chief optimistic ahead of play-off clash

Peterborough director of football Barry Fry joined Drivetime ahead of his side’s play-off semi-final meeting with Leyton Orient, saying he is confident the Posh will make it through to a Wembley final.

The tie is level at 1-1 following the first leg at London Road, with Orient man Moses Odubajo ruling out Britt Assombalonga’s early goal, though the battling O’s were perhaps the better side.

And while Fry admitted Peterborough were lucky to escape that game with a draw, he insists the visitors will give it their all to seal a trip to the home of football.
