Marin keen to make permanent Chelsea exit

Chelsea midfielder Marko Marin wants to make his loan move to Sevilla permanent in the summer.

The German midfielder has enjoyed a successful year with the Spanish side, despite injury problems, and played a part in their Europa League triumph.

Marin is one in a long line of exciting talents to be signed-up by Chelsea before being farmed out as places in Jose Mourinho's first-team become harder to come by.

A return to Stamford Bridge looks highly unlikely, given the vast array of attacking options at Mourinho's disposal, and Marin is now keen to secure a full-time switch away from the Blues.

The 25-year-old said: "Seville want to keep me, they want to buy me outright.

“Now I can only wait and see what will happen, will depend on what will decide Chelsea.”
