Chelsea star Kepa Arrizabalaga in fight with David de Gea to become Real Madrid goalkeeper

Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga is in competition with David de Gea to become Real Madrid's new goalkeeper.
Los Blancos are in search of a new No.1 following Thibaut Courtois' anterior cruciate ligament injury.
The former Chelsea star is set to miss the majority of the season, and the LaLiga side are on the hunt for a replacement.
talkSPORT understands Real Madrid are considering a move for current Blues no.1 Kepa.
The goalkeeper prefers the idea of a move to Madrid over his other admirers, Bayern Munich, who have just snapped up Tottenham striker Harry Kane for more than £100million.
But the LaLiga giants are also in talks with former Manchester United star David de Gea.
The Red Devils legend is currently a free agent following the end of his contract at Old Trafford, and could return to his home country this summer.
Real Madrid originally wanted Sevilla goalkeeper Yassine Bounou.
However, their LaLiga rivals upped the asking price for the 32-year-old, leaving Real Madrid to look elsewhere.
Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino alluded to Kepa still being his no.1 ahead of the club's opening Premier League game against Liverpool on Sunday.
And the Blues do also have summer signing Robert Sanchez to come in instead should Kepa leave for Madrid.
“It’s going to be very good competition," Pochettino said when asked about his goalkeepers. "We needed to sign another [goalkeeper]. The club followed him for a long time and it was a good opportunity for the club to sign him, and a good challenge for Kepa.
“Kepa is, [after] three, four weeks working with us, a little bit ahead of him. Like in all different players, it is a challenge for them to keep their place if they play on Sunday.
“For the players not going to play they need to fight to catch the teammates playing in their place.
“That is competition and for sure will improve both Chelsea and the two very good keepers who fight for the position.”
