Leeds star Jack Harrison set to join Everton despite late swoop from Aston Villa

Leeds winger Jack Harrison is set to join Everton despite a late attempt from Aston Villa to hijack the deal.
Following Leeds' relegation from the Premier League, the 26-year-old is said to have a clause in his contract that allows a loan move away.
talkSPORT reported the Everton are in talks with Harrison over a potential move to Goodison Park this summer.
He is suggested to be in line for a medical at the Toffees as he edges towards a potential return to the Premier League.
It's understood Villa could be set to hijack a deal for the winger as they continue their revolution under Unai Emery.
But it appears Harrison will be joining the Toffees, however, it could be a while until he stars for whoever his new club may be.
He is currently recovering from a hip injury that has kept him sidelined for the start the season.
They appear to be missing his quality as Daniel Farke's side have picked up just one point from six in the Championship so far.
Harrison scored six goals and assisted another ten for the Whites across all competitions last season despite their relegation.
He has proven to be a key player for the side since he signed from Manchester City in 2021.
Everton, who have narrowly avoided relegation for the past two seasons, got their 2023/24 campaign off to a losing start as they suffered a 1-0 defeat at home to Everton.
However, even with his current injury woes, a return to the Premier League could very well be on the cards,
A move to Villa would make him their fourth addition of the summer after Youri Tielemans, Pau Torres and Moussa Diaby.
Many have tipped Emery's side to push for a European spot once again this season after an impressive end to the previous campaign.
Despite their quality, they got off to the worst possible start on Saturday as they were thumped 5-1 away at Newcastle.
