Liverpool ‘admire’ Jarrod Bowen and are tracking West Ham star as potential Mohamed Salah replacement

Liverpool are reportedly eyeing a swoop for West Ham's Jarrod Bowen as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah.
The Reds' are already preparing for life without their Egyptian talisman it seems, with speculation over his future continuing to swirl.
Salah was a target for Saudi Arabian champions Al Ittihad in the summer, before Jurgen Klopp's side rejected a £150m bid, insisting he was not for sale.
The 31-year-old, who has two-years left on his current deal at Anfield, has managed 309 appearances, 188 goals and 81 assists, since joining the club from Roma in 2017.
According to , the Reds are running the rule over 26-year-old Bowen as a potential replacement, should they decide to cash in.
The report adds Klopp's side admire Bowen and have been watching for a number of seasons.
Bowen's contract at West Ham is up in 2025, the same as Salah's, but the Hammers are keen to tie their star forward down to a new deal.
The former Hull City star has had a bright start to the new campaign, with three goals and an assist in four games.
Since joining West Ham in January 2020, Bowen has managed 43 goals and 32 assists in 162 appearances.
Whilst these are not Salah's numbers, there is certainly optimism he would flourish in a more attacking role under Klopp.
Bowen is certainly not the only name being mentioned though, with Liverpool also said to be keeping tabs on Crystal Palace sensation Michael Olise, who was a target for Chelsea.
There is also continued interest in Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid target Kylian Mbappe, while Takefusa Kubo of Real Sociedad is another name under consideration.
