Chelsea transfer report: Sevilla manager rules LaLiga club out of race for unfavoured Cesc Fabregas

Sevilla are NOT in the running to land Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas, according to their manager Jorge Sampaoli.
Fabregas has fallen out of favour at Chelsea since the arrival of Antonio Conte and he has played just 87 minutes of Premier League action so far this term.
A January departure could be on the cards for the midfielder and it has been reported that a return to Spain is most likely, while Juventus have been linked.
Sevilla had also emerged as candidates to sign the former Arsenal and Barcelona star but Sampaoli has poured cold water on those rumours.
He said: "He's very intelligent and it's clear he's a player any coach would love to have. But it hasn't crossed my mind that he could be here.
"I know he's an important player, but I'm not thinking about him.
"We're linked with players day in, day out. We value the squad that we have here highly and I'm not thinking about any more than that."
