Ex-Liverpool goalkeeper Kamil Grabara calls Galatasaray a ‘s*** hole’ as wife receives ‘over 300 death threats’

Former Liverpool goalkeeper Kamil Grabara called Galatasaray a 's*** hole' after FC Copenhagen's draw against the Turkish giants.

The former Reds star's wife says she and her husband have received 'over 300 death threats' following the game, taking to Instagram to reveal an insight into the messages she's been bombarded with.

Grabara, who was on Liverpool's books between 2016 and 2021 and went on loan to Huddersfield in that time, posted a snap of his team FC Copenhagen on Instagram after their 2-2 Champions League draw.

But it was the caption of the picture that has led to him and his wife receiving abuse.

"Deserved all 3pts from that s*** hole, but that's life, we move on," the 24-year-old wrote alongside the snap.

Grabara has since turned the comments off on the post, but that hasn't stopped Galatasaray fans from littering his other posts with gifs of the Turkish club.

However, not all fans have taken kindly to Grabara's review of playing in Istanbul, with his wife receiving 'death messages' after the game.

"Last night I got over 300 death messages, this isn't normal," Grabara's wife, Dominika Robak, told her 43.3k followers as she posted screenshots of the DMs.

One of the messages sent to her read: "WE WILL KILL YOUR HUSBAND AND YOU JUST WAIT."

Copenhagen had taken a two goal lead and looked to be taking all three points back to Denmark from the Turkish city.

However, the Superliga side were left frustrated after the home side staged a late comeback, scoring twice in as many minutes in the dying moments of the fixture to take a point.

Galatasaray will face Man United in their next group game, whilst Copenhagen will come up against group leaders Bayern Munich.
