Laura Woods has Rio Ferdinand in stitches as she jokes Manchester United legend made brag off air

Laura Woods bantering Rio Ferdinand meant the analysis of Manchester United's shocking defending began on a lighter note.
It was another horror show at the back for the Red Devils, who suffered a surprise 3-2 defeat at home to Galatasaray in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
But before the TNT Sports punditry team dived into where it all went wrong for Erik ten Hag's men, former talkSPORT host Woods couldn't resist telling a jokey fib to get a rise out of the Man United legend.
She said: "Is that defence in front of him that bad? You said to me a minute ago, 'I'm the best defender the Premier League's ever seen!'"
An amused Ferdinand responded: "These lies are coming out thick and fast."
Fellow Man United icon and former teammate of Ferdinand's Scholes joined in on the jokes, adding: "I heard him!"
But for Man United there's nothing to laugh as they remain on zero points from two Champions League outings this season and have suffered their sixth defeat in ten appearances this term.
All of Galatasaray's goals could've been avoided with their first seeing Wilfried Zaha taking advantage of indecisive play by Diogo Dalot and Andre Onana before putting the ball in the net.
The second saw the Turkish side carve Man United open as Muhammed Kerem Aktürkoğlu slotted into the corner of the net, while Red Devils goalkeeper Andre Onana was guilty of going down early before Mauro Icardi dinked in the winner.
Onana's earlier howler also led to Casemiro getting sent off as the Cameroonian's casual pass was played straight to Dries Mertens and in an attempt to win the ball before Mertens took the shot, Casemiro went through the Belgian and conceded a penalty, which was subsequently missed.
And Ferdinand admits he was worried by the lack of leadership shown at the back from his former club.
He said: "When you concede goals and score goals I believe it's the team, but individuals do have moments.
"I believe that you need organisers at the back, whether it's your goalkeeper or one of your centre halves who communicates.
"With two of those goals, especially, there was no leadership in that backline, no controlling the situation."
