Leyton Orient vs Lincoln City fixture to be replayed IN FULL following death of fan
Leyton Orient's League One clash against Lincoln City will be replayed in full after it was abandoned due to a medical emergency.
Play was stopped in the 84th minute during the original fixture on October 3 when Orient fan Derek Reynolds was given CPR on the side of the pitch.
The east London club tragically confirmed the following day that the lifelong fan had passed away.
Almost an hour after play was stopped at Brisbane Road, the match was abandoned with Orient leading 1-0.
The match will now be replayed in full, with an on Monday saying: "The EFL Board has determined that the Sky Bet League One fixture between Leyton Orient and Lincoln City should be replayed in full following its abandonment on Tuesday 3 October.
"The game was called off after the referee had taken the players off the pitch in the 84th minute when he was made aware of a medical emergency occurring in the stands, which unfortunately resulted in the passing of Leyton Orient supporter Derek Reynolds.

"Having considered all relevant factors relating to the decision taken by the match officials and club stadium staff on the night, alongside the options available to them in accordance with the Regulations, the Board felt the most appropriate course of action was to reschedule the fixture in full.
"A new date for the game will be announced by the Clubs in due course."
With less than ten minutes left of play, one fan ran onto the pitch and towards referee Stephen Martin to tell him a fan needed medical attention in the East Stand.
Play continued for less than a minute until around 20 supporters sat on the pitch to alert Martin of the medical emergency.

The game was then halted as paramedics appeared to give the fan at the side of the pitch, with both teams being taken off by the referee.
A statement from Orient after the game read: "The thoughts of everyone at Leyton Orient Football Club are with the individual involved and their loved ones at this distressing time.
"The club would like to thank all supporters in attendance at Brisbane Road this evening for the understanding and compassion shown, during a very difficult situation."
