Steven Gerrard insists England have the firepower to end Uruguay’s World Cup dreams.

Group D’s bottom two teams clash in Sao Paolo on Thursday in a match neither side can afford to lose.

And the Liverpool captain believes the Three Lions have the armoury to out-gun their South American opponents.

He insists: “They concede goals and if we attack like we did against Italy, we will cause Uruguay big, big problems."
