Manchester United legend David Beckham had ‘goosebumps’ moment with Sachin Tendulkar at Cricket World Cup
David Beckham has admitted he felt 'goosebumps' walking out at the Wankhede Stadium with Sachin Tendulkar.
The Manchester United legend was present on Wednesday as India beat New Zealand to land a spot in the Cricket World Cup final.
The Red Devils icon spoke to both sides before the host nation cruised past the 2019 runners-up by 70 runs.
But Beckham has admitted he could not tell who is louder between football and cricket fans, with the cheers giving him goosebumps.
He said: "I think it's nice to step into a stadium and get goosebumps. I felt it as soon as I walked into this stadium.
"Maybe because I was walking with Sachin even when there weren't many people at the start I could feel it."

Indian fans turned out in force to support their nation as they took on New Zealand with one eye on winning the whole tournament.
It would follow their success in 2011 - the last Cricket World Cup to be held in India - where the Men in Blue claimed victory.
And as India crushed New Zealand - including a record-breaking century from Virat Kohli - every boundary was cheered with decibel-shattering volume by the home crowd.
When asked which fan base was loudest, Beckham added: "I would always say football fans.

"But being here today, I am not so sure. The fans are creating an electric atmosphere, they are so loud! So I am not sure."
India batted first on Wednesday before registering a score of 397/4, including 47 runs from captain Rohit Sharma in 29 balls.
But the story of the day was Kohli's century, which pushed him ahead of Tendulkar, and now the most for India in ODI history on 50.
Kohli sunk to his knees and bowed towards the executive box where Tendulkar was sat in a show of respect while the India legend also made an appearance alongside Beckham before a ball had been bowled.
The two had enjoyed a kickabout on the pitch before the sporting event got underway.
The Inter Miami co-owner has been globetrotting since the end of the MLS season, joining Thierry Henry at the San Siro to watch Paris Saint-Germain against AC Milan in the Champions League last week.
He was also present to watch Brentford B take on Leicester Under-21s to watch his son, Romeo, on Friday.
