Ex-Tottenham winger Marcus Edwards involved in terrifying car crash on way to Sporting training

Marcus Edwards was involved in a terrifying car crash on his way to Sporting training.
Pictures show the 24-year-old's Range Rover on its side following the incident just north of Lisbon on Wednesday morning.
Reports in Portugal say that Edwards was shaken by the crash, but thankfully was unharmed.
Emergency services are said to have attended the scene of the crash, as did officials from Sporting in order to assist the winger.
The club's training session was due to start at 10am, but is reported to have been delayed following the incident involving Edwards.
He was travelling to their training base ahead of their Europa League clash with Atalanta on Thursday night.

Edwards has been a star man for Sporting since joining the club from Vitoria de Guimaraes in 2022.
Born to an English father and Greek Cypriot mother, he came through the Tottenham academy.
He only made one appearance in their first team and had loan spells with Norwich and Dutch side Excelsior.
Edwards came back to haunt Spurs in the Champions League last season, scoring against his old club.
